Cars: £0 – one per pitch, additional vehicles to be parked off site.
Camper Vans: £2 per night supplement for hard standing
Motor Bikes: £0 per night. Required to fit into allocated pitch.
Awning and Gazebos: £0 per night
Electric Hook-up: £7 per night now available on all pitches, along with water supply.

Facilities

Free facilities include wi-fi, toilets, showers and a campers’ kitchen with seating, oven, microwaves, kettles, toasters, fridges and freezer – we even provide pots,
pans, cups, plates and cutlery. We have twenty five pitches which include five hardstanding pitches and all pitches on the site have electrical ‘hook-up’ and water
pedestals available.

We want you to relax, unwind and enjoy your stay on our campsite which lies in the beautiful village of Laxey. Head up the hill to the main village, or down to the
beach.

There are plenty of walks leading from the campsite – to the beach via road or a beautiful walk through the woods and along the riverbank, around the headland, to the main village, the Laxey Glen, Valley Gardens with its Great Laxey Mine Railway and to the famous Laxey Wheel.

We are also convenient for the local shops, launderette, Post Office, local eateries and several public houses.

There is a play area nearby and within a few minutes down a wooden walkway or via the path by the waterfall there is a new skateboard park, a tennis court, BMX
area and general recreation facilities.

Easy to book, friendly and helpful owners and managers. Our small group of classic vehicles were all accommodated over the weekend with no problems.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. A well spread out campsite in the lovely village of Laxey where there is so much to see. The facilities were spotless and the location in the village made it easy to walk to the beach, trains and Italian restaurant. We were in a motorhome so did not need to use the welcoming kitchen facilities but I imagine they would be a big bonus if you were sleeping in a tent. Be very careful to follow the directions sent to you by the owners and go through Laxey village if travelling from the Douglas direction as you do not want to follow sat nav as it will take you off the road before the village which is not a suitable route for large vehicles.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Świetny, niewielki, zaciszny kemping. Dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, zadaszone stoliki z ławami obok, bardzo czyste łazienki. Chętnie skorzystam ponownie w przyszłości. Tymczasem polecam innym. Dodam, że kemping leży na trasie Raad Ny Foillan i stanowi dogodne miejsce noclegowe właśnie przy okazji przemierzania tej drogi.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Stayed here for 4 nights before heading to Peel for 3 nights. Peel was fine but would have preferred to stay here for the full week. Beautiful location and surrounding areas. Will be back hopefully for 5 nights at Easter.

Lovely little site in a quiet spot between the beach and Laxey village (it is a gentle 10 minute walk to either but there is a short and steepish hill back up to the site). The site has all the basic amenities (washing up facilities, a toilet and shower block) which are clean and functional. There is all also a well appointed kitchen, and an outdoor covered seating area. The hardstanding pitches are shale based and need heavy duty pegs for any awnings.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a great campsite in a lovely village location just a short walk to the restaurants, pubs and seafront of Laxey and a slightly longer route to the train and bus services.
The facilities are very modern, clean and well maintained. The roads nearby provide great links to the rest of the island.

Laxey Campsite is the home of Island Rovers’ Shepherd’s Hut, ‘Margaret’.
