There are nine positions on the board of Garff Commissioners, with each member serving for a period of four years. Each commissioner has been elected by the people of Garff with three Members coming from the Wards of Laxey, Lonan, and Maughold.

Commissioners’ Meetings

Garff Commissioners hold their annual meeting in public on the first Wednesday of May each year. Throughout the rest of the year meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. The meetings start at 7.00pm and are held in the Boardroom at Commissioners’ Offices on New Road, Laxey.

The public are very welcome to attend the public session of the meetings to observe proceedings.
